Double-barrel caplock muzzle loading shotgun, built by H. H. McKenney, gunsmith of Biddeford, about 1850-1860. Original ramrod gone, a dowel rests in its place.
An advertisement for McKenney appears in the 1866 City Directory, page 49. It was believed to be the property of George R. Andrews, co-owner of the grocery firm Andrews + Horrigan.
