Original ledger full of the writings, poetry, prose and some clippings of Capt. Waldo Verrill of Biddeford Pool. Also an original copy of the work "The Biddeford Pool Poet: Waldo Stillson Verrill 1858-1951" by Harold L. Hanson (2007). A full transcription of the ledger by Harold Hanson is included as well. Hanson's self-published work is a history of Verrill plus some transcibed poems from the Verrill's ledger, accompanied by historical notes and photographs collected by Hanson, a Verrill relative. Folder is located in MS999 Box 6, Ledger is with MS999 Ledgers. Bound publication "The Biddeford Pool Poet" by Harold L. Hanson is in Special Collections. |
