Pavilion Church (Third Congregational Church of Biddeford), circa 1870. This is the current McArthur Library building as it looked in 1870, when occupied as a church. Note the new, young trees which have been planted out front, along with a fence, which dates this as a little later than image 629. The building was started in 1863, and all (including the steeple and clock) were completed in 1865. |
