Description |
St. Joseph School, Biddeford, class of 1882. This was the first year and the first class of St. Joseph's School. The school was then housed in the basement of St. Joseph's Church. Construction of the separate brick school was begun in 1886 and classes began there in 1888. There were 860 pupils. Names of some of the pupils here [doesn't say who is who]: Georgine St. Pierre, Anna St. Pierre, Marie Lagarde, Victoria Lanfre?, Amanda Lachance, Jeunne Moreau, Enfemé Girard, - Parent, Josephine Ledoux, - Masse, - Melancon, - St. Michel. |
