NOTE: Four of the five remaining men in the photograph could be the men listed below, but except for Henry Kasem it is not known who is who; also, the list only give 5 names and there are 6 men in this photo. According to the book above, p. 38 (translation): "The National Muhammadan Religious Society of America was founded in Biddeford, Maine on April 5, 1915. The first seniority was elected as follows: Chairman Mr. Qani Hilmi Bilishti, Secretary Iliza Permeti, Treasurer Mr. Telha Kanan Panariti, elder Mr. Mustafa Fuat Kapshtica, Ahmet Veli Suli." |
