Etz Chaim Synagogue, Bacon Street, 1955. Built in 1874 as a Baptist church, the original congregation moved out at the turn of the century to a new church building on Jefferson Street. Greater Biddeford-Saco's Jewish community has called Etz Chaim home since 1906. |
