Biddeford firemen in costume and false moustaches, on "Ladder 1 - 1926" at the Biddeford Fire Station, September, 12, 1965. The firemen are on a 40 year old ladder truck, ready to drive to Portland for old-timers section of the Maine State Federation of Firefighters parade which was being held that day. Photo taken by a photographer for the Biddeford Journal. Next door can be seen the City Diner, 59 Washington Street, which was owned and operated by Mrs. Juliette Myers. |
