Description |
Field-Hurd house, 34 South Street, Biddeford in 1953. Built in 1849 at the corner of South and Jefferson Streets, and occupied from 1856 to 1913 by William H. Field, who was promienent in business here for many years. After 1912 it was the home of Dr. H. Willis Hurd, who added the side verandas; however, the great front columns go back to 1849. |
