Description |
Apartment building at 182-184 Elm Street, Biddeford, circa 1910. This beautiful building stood on the corner of Elm Street and Emery Court, next door to St. Joseph's Church, and was built sometime between 1901 and 1906. On the left are a duplex (186-188 Elm Street) and a single family home (190 Elm Street). Behind the tenement is seen a duplex which stood at 7-9 Emery Court. This photo was taken from the Center Street intersection, and where the horse and cart sits on Center Street stood a grocery store. |
