Description |
Biddeford City Building, circa 1894. The original City Building and bell tower as it stood at Main and Adams Streets, home to many businesses and the City Opera House. This building burned down on December 31, 1894 and had to be completely rebuilt. The Post Office was located here, and the sign for it can just be seen above the first floor windows directly to the right of the telephone pole. |
