The Fraternal Order of Eagles and their Santa distribute 2,500 boxes of candy in City Square, Christmas morning, 1913. The man with the megaphone at left is Frank X.C. Cote, owner of the Nickel Theater which is seen at right decorated for the holiday. An account of this was written in the Biddeford Daily Journal, 26 December 1913.
